ABOUT THE PLAY

From the creators of Spring Awakening, Alice by Heart is a bold reimagining of Alice in Wonderland, set in an air raid shelter during the London Blitz and pulsing with indie-rock energy, aching nostalgia, and wild theatricality. A meditation on the power of imagination during the darkest of times.

Note to those auditioning: Alice By Heart explores topics such as war-related trauma, terminal illness, death, grief, and mental health struggles. It also touches on issues of sexual identity and repression, and includes mild language and suggestive content.
