About

We are an organization at The University of North Florida that is entirely dedicated to musical theater. Since musical theatre and dance are not available as a degree program at UNF, students who are passionate about the art form can only show it through their involvement in this club.  "Alice by Heart" and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" will be our seventh and eighth productions, and they will take place this Spring of 2026. 
 

"Into the Woods," "The Sound of Music," "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical," "Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella," "Carrie: The Musical," and "Ride The Cyclone" are the musicals that this company has previously produced. 
 

Swoop Troupe is a club committed to providing UNF students and The Jacksonville community the opportunity to become involved in all aspects of theatrical productions both backstage and on stage.
